The Balmes 89 building is located on one of the iconic chamfered corners of Barcelona, at the intersection of Balmes Street and Mallorca Street.
The new façade respects the composition of openings and rhythms of the residential buildings it coexists with.
Royth was responsible for the structural design of the façade’s substructure and anchoring, as well as the external ceramic decorative louvres. These tasks were carried out in collaboration with the technical office of the façade specialist, GARCIA FAURA.
